Emergency Relief (ER)
Krurungal provides immediate support to community members in financial crisis. Support is comprised of food vouchers and referrals to other supports.
Children and Schooling Program (CASP)
Krurungal’s Duran Children and Schooling Program works closely with local state schools to keep young people in Grades 7 to 12 engaged at school. The program focusses on increasing school attendance and improving educational outcomes which lead to employment.
Community Pathway Connector (CPC)
Krurungal’s Community Pathway Connector (CPC) program is funded by the Gold Coast Primary Health Network (GCPHN). It provides a non-clinical, culturally safe connection point for people who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander or who have specific cultural needs. We work collaboratively across the community sector, with both mainstream and culturally appropriate services, to respond to the needs of individuals or families seeking support for a variety of issues.
Cultural Awareness Training
Krurungal is well-known for its cultural awareness training, where we provide education and awareness about the history and culture of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People to a range of mainstream organisations.
